Bridgehead Coffeehouse Manager: Lead Our Exceptional Team.

Our extraordinary coffeehouse teams are the foundation of Bridgehead's success. We are looking for an experienced, self-starting individual with a genuine passion for people and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading, educating, supporting, and training team members to embody the highest standards of hospitality. This includes ensuring every guest enjoys our unique, ethically traded products within a welcoming, community-centered environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide effective leadership to motivate and direct team members to exceed hospitality expectations.
  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate front-line team members.
  • Anticipate and respond to customer needs; identify opportunities for customer experience improvements and maintain a warm, inviting coffeehouse atmosphere.
  • Model and ensure Bridgehead Standards for hospitality, cleanliness, product quality, and efficiency are consistently met.
  • Uphold and maintain operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient, compliant operations.
  • Participate in team meetings and develop action plans to implement store and organizational goals.
  • Liaise with Support Staff and other Managers in a professional and collaborative manner to ensure business needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow all Bridgehead systems, including cash management and operational controls.
  • Actively manage store costs including inventory, payroll, purchasing, waste, and maintenance.
  • Lead by example through regular, punctual attendance and professionalism.
  • Safeguard the health and safety of customers and staff.
  • Champion Bridgehead’s vision and values with integrity and deep product knowledge.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the needs of the business.

What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum of 2–3+ years of experience in a Store Manager or equivalent leadership role.
  • A proven leader and exemplary model of hospitality.
  • Strong financial acumen and inventory management experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift up to 40 kg.
  • A consistent record of punctuality, attendance, and time management.
  • Flexibility regarding store location and hours of work.
  • Food Handler certification (asset).
  • First Aid/CPR certification (asset).
